The New York Times

American daily newspaper

You must create your personal account to access the journal:

  • First time login: click on "Create Account" and enter your HEC email address and and choose a password.
  • Once the account is created: click on"Already have an account? Log in here" and enter your HEC email address and password.

The NYT is available on the mobile application. 

Back issues of The New York Times are also accessible via Factiva.

Please note that access expire after 364 days. To reactivate, log in to the NYT and enter your credentials. 

The Wall Street Journal

American daily economic and financial newspaper

You must create your personal account to access the journal:

  • First time login: fill out the form "Create Account" with your HEC email address et and choose a password. You will then receive and email from The Wall Street Journal confirming your registration.
  • Once the account is created: click on the title "The Wall Street Journal" at the top of the page (to access the newspaper directly without taking the survey) then click on "Sign in" and enter your HEC email address and password.
The WSJ is available on the mobile application.

The Economist

British weekly news magazine
  • First time login: click on "Log in" at the top right of the page then click on "Don't have an account? Register now" and enter your HEC email address and choose a password.
  • Once the account is created: click on"Log in" on top of the right of the page then enter your HEC email address and password.

The Economist is available on the mobile application.

You can also read a flip-through version on Cafeyn, and a print edition of the journal is available at our physical kiosk. 

The Financial Times

British daily financial newspaper

To connect, you don’t need to create an account. However, you must always go through our databases accessible on our website, and fill in the authentication form with your HEC credentials.

The FT is available on the mobile application.

To access this service, FT asks you to enter data whose use is explained in their privacy policy. When you no longer have access to this service, in order for the FT data to be deleted, you must contact help@ft.com by requesting the deletion of your data or go to “Contact Us” on their website.

Le Monde

French daily newspaper

Our digital offer* to Le Monde gives you access to:

  • live news treated by journalistes,
  • the digital version of the daily newspaper from 11am,
  • newspaper supplements, including M le Magazine du Monde,
  • the last 30 issues in « Consulter le journal » section,
  • the archives of the digital version for 1 year, via the « Search » function.

*Services and content for individual use, Le Monde in English and access to Le Monde mobile applications are not included in this offer.

To connect, you don’t need to create an account. However, you must always go through our databases accessible on our website, and log in to the proxy with your HEC credentials.

Please note that access to Le Monde is limited to 10 simultaneous connections.

Les Echos

French daily business newspaper

Our digital offer* to Les Echos.fr gives you access to:

  • live news treated by journalist,
  • the digital version of the daily newspaper from 9.30pm the day before,
  • the Magazines Les Echos Week-end, Série Limitée and Les Echos Start,
  • the newspaper supplements, including Les Echos Sociétés and Les Echos Entreprises et Collectivités,
  • Selected newsletters, such as La Matinale des abonnés and Mes Echos de la semaine.
