Before a career event, do your research and anticipate your conversations:
Who are the key players in your target industry? Which companies are hiring? What are their business activities, roles, and latest news? Taking the time to do your research in advance will help you arrive at the career fair with a better understanding of your professional environment and identify the companies you want to meet.
