Cafeyn

Presentation

Cafeyn is a digital reading application that offers unlimited access to hundreds of newspapers and magazines across a wide range of topics, including news, sports, well-being, travel, culture, and more—wherever you are! Don’t wait any longer and enjoy more than 1,400 press titles from 450 publishers in France and worldwide, including Le Figaro, L’Express, Challenges, Le Point, La Croix, Society, Le Nouvel Économiste, Forbes, The Guardian, and many others.

The subscription provided by the Learning Center allows you to read content on your web browser as well as on the Cafeyn app, available on the Apple Store and Google Play.

You can also download magazines for offline reading, search for articles by keywords, and create reading lists.

Access modes

Web browser: You must always log in through our website and log in with your HEC credentials.

  1. Go to the Learning Center website from your web browser,
  2. Search for “Cafeyn” using the search bar or our databases,
  3. Click on the "Cafeyn" link and enter your HEC login and password.

Mobile app:

  1. Download the Cafeyn app from the Apple Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android),
  2. Log in to the Learning Center website from your phone (not directly from the app),
  3. Search for “Cafeyn” using the search bar or our databases.
  4. Click on the "Cafeyn" link and enter your HEC login and password,
  5. On your first login, your phone will offer you to open Cafeyn directly in the app or continue on a browser.

If the app does not open, the problem you are encountering is probably due to your browser settings. The browser must allow the Cafeyn app to open. We invite you to be vigilant about this, especially for Samsung Internet and Firefox.

Once connected

You can search for a title or an article by keywords in the "Recherche" tab.

Alternatively, click on the "Catalogue" tab to browse all available publications. Find your favorite newspaper or magazine:

  • By title or keywords using the « rechercher une publication » bar (on the browser) or « Rechercher un titre, un article » (on the mobile app),
  • By category by selecting different themes such as News & Politics, Economy, Sports, Culture, or Climate.

Among the many titles available on Cafeyn, explore newspapers and magazines in the "News & Politics" category, including L'Express, Challenges, Le Figaro, Society, Le Point, La Croix, Politis, The Guardian, Socialter, and more.
