Filing a teaching case

A collection of educational cases has been created for HEC Paris at the Centrale de Cas de Medias Pedagogiques (CCMP) and The Case Center

The Learning Center team can help you in submitting educational products:

Who can publish an educational case?

All HEC Paris professors are invited to publish their work on our collection.

What types of documents are admissible?

The cases must be submitted with accompanying teaching notes. Additionally, any complimentary documents can be submitted as well (excel files, ppt, videos…).

The cases must adhere to the quality standards of the HEC Paris collection and belong to one of the categories of cases defined below.

What are the publishing criteria to abide by?

The document(s) must meet the quality standards of the HEC collection:

1- "Transferability": The case must be easy to use for another instructor/lecturer; the educational objectives must be clearly detailed. Finally, the case must be adaptable to different types of audiences.

2- "Innovation": Authors are invited to use creative and original scenarios. They are also encouraged to diversify the choice of media (paper, video, website, etc.).

3- "Authenticity": Cases can be developed with the support of a real or fictitious company, but the given management situation should always offer credible scenarios (e.g. A fictitious case based on the collection of authentic data by the author, and then presented as belonging to one and the same company).

4- "Originality": Authors are encouraged to address unpublished topics; management topics that others have not tackled. Original and atypical contributions are welcome.

Should a Publication Authorization be provided?

If the case is developed in partnership with a company, the author(s) is(are) required to provide an authorization duly signed by the company in order to publish the case
